Class B (or Non-CDL) Medical Waste/Sharps BOX TRUCK Driver

About the role

We’re looking for a dependable, safety‑minded driver with a valid drivers license and experience driving 26ft box trucks to support our healthcare routes in the Litchfield, IL area. This role is perfect for a driver who values consistent daytime hours, local routes, and meaningful work that supports hospitals and healthcare professionals every day.

This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate company vehicles up to 26’ box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections
• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL or valid drivers license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
• Confidence completing Level 1-3 DOT road checks
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers
• Customer‑focused mindset with a flexible, can‑do attitude
• Commitment to safe driving and on‑time delivery practices

Pay

Competitive salary - This position is offering a SET (non-negotiable) rate DEPENDENT ON LICENSE TYPE

• Non-CDL Pay - $26 per hour
• CDL Pay - $27 per hour
• CDL with HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT - $28 per hour

Consistent work hours - M-F position 1st Shift (5AM to 3PM)
