Class B Delivery Driver

About the role

Imperial Dade is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver in Nashville, TN. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• One year of recent CDL B experience
• One year of route delivery experience
• One year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.
