About the role
Meadow Gold Dairy, a part of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., is seeking dependable CDL B Delivery Truck Drivers to operate a straight truck safely and efficiently, manually unload and deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies, adhering to all safety practices.
- Deliver products or assets according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations (e.g., put deliveries inside coolers and walk-ins) in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnel.
- Report delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns.
- Load and unload product as required at designated stops (2-wheel cart and/or pallet jacket); may include stocking and ordering of product (varies by route).
- Communicate effectively and maintain good relations with customers; report any problems to the driver supervisor or manager.
- Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicle.
- Complete all daily paperwork fully and correctly each day; maintain all log and trip records according to company policy and DOT guidelines.
- Perform load inventory and document condition of freight before departure.
- Attend all driver workshops and training sessions.
- Use company-supported applications or systems properly.
- Represent DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers or other individuals.
Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- 21+ years of age.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 55 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required, occasional weekends, and holidays.
- 6 months of related experience preferred.

Schedule
- Rotating 4-day work week with Sundays off and two consecutive days off.
- Start time between 1 am - 3 am.
