Class B CDL Driver/Operator
About the role
HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class B CDL Operator to join their safety-conscious team. This position involves the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all services lines, supervising and completing single task jobs with one crew, and managing turnarounds with client oversight.
Responsibilities
- Act as safety representative, overseeing safety policies and procedures for both the company and the customer.
- Operate and maintain vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, and special equipment like Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
- Ensure compliance with company and customer specifications during surface cleaning.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
- Direct a crew of vacuum technicians and transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
- Complete pre and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and adhere to DOT requirements.
- Unload vacuum trucks at dump sites and perform general maintenance in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training and on-the-job training.
- Valid CDL Class B license and other company-specific requirements.
- Experience operating a vacuum truck and working knowledge of wet and dry vacuums.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Preferred HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements.

Pay
Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
Schedule
Details on the schedule will be provided upon interview.
Skills
Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers, and experience operating various types of vacuums and hydroblasting equipment.
