Class B CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• An active Hazmat & Tanker endorsement.
• A strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable form of transportation.
• To be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
• To be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• To be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• To be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday).
• To be able to work overtime on a regular basis.
• To be willing to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
• To be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Previous experience in environmental services or related field.
