Class Action and Complex Litigation Attorney

Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Commercial Litigation Practice in the Lexington, KY office.

About the role

The ideal candidate will handle commercial litigation and large class actions, including representing institutional SFR/BTR companies in defense litigation such as fair housing, criminal investigations by state Attorney General offices, employment, and national operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Engage in motion practice and oral advocacy

Requirements

• At least two (2) to fifteen (15) years of experience in commercial litigation and class actions
• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of litigation, with a focus on complex commercial matters and class actions
• Superior writing skills and strong analytical and research abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Admission to the Kentucky Bar (required)
• Admission to the Alabama Bar (a plus)
