Class A Truck Driver

About the role

We are searching for a Class A local truck driver in the Memphis, TN area. The driver should be flexible with shifts and schedules, willing to take on different assignments week to week, and make touch freight deliveries. Assignments may be as short as one day; drivers must be willing to work short-term assignments until long-term assignments become available.

Pay

Hourly pay: ±$26/hr with overtime after 40 hours.

Schedule

Varies depending on position. Drivers will be home daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive a manual transmission truck
• Handle hazardous materials and tanker loads (Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required)
• Touch freight using pallet jacks
• Operate forklifts (experience preferred)

Requirements

• 12 months of verifiable Class A truck driving experience in the last 3 years
• Valid DOT medical card
• Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Good work history
• Ability to operate a manual transmission (no auto-only restriction)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Willingness to touch freight (e.g., using pallet jacks)
