Position Summary
We are currently hiring a Class A Driver who is detail-oriented and enjoys delivering quality service. An ideal candidate is reliable, dependable, and experienced in route deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
- Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
- Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Report defects, accidents, and violations.
- Communicate and coordinate with dispatch on delivery.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.
- CDL Class A license and passing DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
- Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
- Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
- Manual certification is a plus.
- Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
- Legally permitted to work in the United States.
Pay
Target Total Comp: Mileage Pay.
Full Benefits package.
Annual Salary forecasted at $90,000.
Eligible for a $3K hiring bonus paid out incrementally at 60, 90, and 180 business days.
Schedule
Dedicated Shuttle Route.
No predicted overnight shifts.
The work schedule will be discussed further at the interview stage.
