Class A Regional Driver

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products. As the largest supplier of dry ice, Airgas has established production plants across the nation to provide a secure supply. Distribution branches are located in strategic locations to serve key industries including universities and labs.

About the role

Safely navigate delivery vehicles to provide dry ice to customers' places of business. Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to carefully load and unload dry ice. Obtain customer signatures, ensure piece count matches the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes for return. Provide customer service and share feedback with the Branch Manager to improve service. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip reviews on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance guidelines. Maintain a clean and professional vehicle environment. Uphold all company policies, safety standards, and DOT/OSHA requirements. Ensure cargo stability and safety prior to and during transit.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A trucks for dry ice deliveries.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment for loading/unloading.
• Verify customer signatures and piece counts against load manifests.
• Collect empty dry ice boxes for return to the plant/branch.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to management.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT and company guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professionalism.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ensure cargo stability and safety during transit.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years (military CDL experience accepted).
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident.
• No serious violations (e.g., speeding 15+ mph over limit, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in the last 3 years, except for "Failure to pay child support."
• No DUI in the last 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification.
• Pallet Jack Certification.

Pay

$70,000 annually with additional earning opportunities.

Schedule

Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. Potentially 2 layovers per week (no consecutive nights out).
