Duties/ Responsibilities
- Load and unload material at various job sites.
- Conduct thorough pre/post trip inspections, follow DOT hazardous material regulations, and comply with strict environmental protocols.
- Connect hoses, monitor pressure valves, and pump liquid products to and from loading racks, storage facilities, tanks, and accurately lay to ground.
- Accurately log driving hours, fuel usage, and deliveries using electronic logging devices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Ability to drive long hours, work overtime and nights and weekends.
- Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA) standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of traffic laws and DOT Regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two+ years’ experience preferred.
- Valid Class A License with endorsement and Hazmat required and maintained.
- Clean driving record required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift, and walk on uneven ground, access heights, and climb in and out of truckcabins, elevated loading docks, and tank hatches.
- Ability to lift, pull, push 25-50 lbs.
