Dohrn Transfer is a leading Midwest LTL Carrier providing less-than-truckload, truckload, and value-added services throughout a 10-state service area. Drivers are home daily. The company offers a competitive salary and a great benefit package in an exciting, rewarding industry. This position is for a Full Time City CDL A Linehaul Combo Driver at the STL Terminal. The role combines city pickup and delivery routes, dock work, yard spotting, and linehaul runs between Dohrn terminal locations, with duties varying based on daily operational needs. Drivers must be flexible and prepared to perform a combination of driving and freight‑handling responsibilities throughout their shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while transporting freight between terminals.
• Load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance of dockworkers.
• Use mechanic freight handling equipment where available and appropriate.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight.
• Secure freight as required through strapping or other methods.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Drive tractor‑trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations, observing hours‑of‑service limitations and required off‑duty periods.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs and other legally required records.
