Class A Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a Class A CDL license holder to stage, deploy, maintain, tear down, and retrieve customer-owned mobile operation centers. This position involves some overnight travel but primarily commutes to our local shop (about 70% of your schedule). We can provide training on mechanical and electrical applications, though a basic understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer’s mobile operations equipment for mission-ready deployment status.
• Report any equipment deficiencies found during scheduled, pre-trip, or post-trip inspections.
• Stage equipment and prepare it for deployment out of the local shop.
• Drive, tow, or haul customer-owned equipment to destinations specified by the customer.
• Perform maintenance functions or adjustments to equipment on-site.
• Assist in the setup of equipment upon arrival at the destination.
• Assist in tear-down and relocation or retrieval of mobile operations centers.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork legibly.
• Communicate daily with remote management to provide accurate information.
• Communicate as necessary with remote nationwide support personnel.

Requirements

• Active Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years of driving experience, including towing/hauling of equipment.
• Experience in trailer weight distribution, securing loads, and use of tie-downs.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Available and willing to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
• Out-of-town overnight travel required for deployments; extended overnight stays may be necessary during disaster recovery events or site requirements.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors professionally.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time efficiently.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $28.00 - $35.00.
