Class A Driver
MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks featuring newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.
About the role
The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to local customers. This role plays a critical part in building positive relationships by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
- Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment, performing safety checks, and more.
- Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide in-person support to customers—addressing questions, needs, and delivering appropriate documentation.
- Communicate with the dispatching team regarding route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal, State, and company regulations.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
- Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $24.50 - $35.50 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
Schedule
Drivers are home daily with local routes, supporting work-life balance.
