About the Role
Drive company-owned, leased, or rental tractors, straight trucks, and/or other vehicles to move products between intercompany buildings and customer or vendor sites. This hands-on role collaborates with other departments and operations to improve accuracy, timeliness, and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Moves material between buildings using tractor-trailers.
- Maintains all company equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and trouble-free condition.
- Performs safe loading/unloading, movement, and storage of raw, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished materials.
- Operates dock handling equipment (stand-up lifts, sit-down lifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Ensures maintenance of vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment is performed and kept in safe operating condition.
- Complies with all company-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any job or department-specific SOPs, including:
- Employee Health and Safety
- SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Procedures) focused on eliminating contaminants in packaging.
- SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures.
- Works within productivity standards and completes tasks in a timely manner.
- Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Prior forklift experience required.
- Knowledge and compliance with all Pennsylvania driving laws and DOT regulations.
- Knowledge of warehousing and bar-coding systems is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.

Physical Demands
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to move and lift up to 40 lbs. intermittently.
- Willingness to work outside in inclement weather (rain, heat, cold, snow, etc.).
- Willingness to load/unload material into and out of trailers, trucks, or other vehicles.
Working Conditions
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in production areas, including:
- Eye protection
- Steel-toe shoes
- Hair net
- Hearing protection
