Responsibilities

• Transport stock from the warehouse to construction job sites throughout Southern California.
• Assist in loading trucks and trailers to prepare for transit.
• Unload material and equipment at job sites to the appropriate receiver.
• Provide delivery updates to warehouse management and Foreman throughout the day as requested.
• Create paperwork if none is provided from the jobsite.
• Assist in the inspection and light maintenance of company vehicles to ensure safe use, as directed.
• Ensure all tools distributed to a jobsite are in proper working order and complete with all accessories; verify they are returned in the same condition.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and material according to production schedules.
• Provide backup warehouse operations support as needed, such as stocking, staging, and inventory management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of driving experience in a commercial-size vehicle (15’+ trailer).
• 1+ year of warehouse operations experience.
• Reliable and predictable attendance.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is based on the local I.B.E.W. union rates. For those not already part of the I.B.E.W. union, we will facilitate joining.
