Class A Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM

We are a healthcare service company providing safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare industry. Our focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, improve infection control, and reduce the environmental footprint of our customers.

About the role

You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations in the Allensville, KY area and delivering a high level of customer service daily. Work location: 7700 Allensville Rd, Allensville, KY 42204.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft in a safe manner.
• Safely collect, deliver, and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and clearly communicate any changes.
• Load and unload, and organize your truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and handle roadside inspections.
• Push/pull a four-wheeled cart that may weigh up to 200 lbs.

Requirements

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53 ft.
• Passing our 7-year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience.

Pay
