About the role
The CDL-A Driver fulfills a critical role in the country's food supply chain, delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This role involves interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform safety checks, including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
- Inspect and secure freight, and complete required paperwork.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, and handle trash removal from trailers.
- Comply with daily record-keeping and hours of service requirements, adhering to DOT, state, and company policies.
- Secure and lock tractor, trailer, and freight appropriately at all times.
- Move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
- Work the assigned schedule required for the position.
Requirements
- 6+ Months Commercial driving experience
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Meet PFG FMCSA Clearinghouse Requirements
- Pass road test
- Able to secure new DOT Medical Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.

Pay
$75,000 - $100,000 Annually with Uncapped Pay Potential.
Schedule
4- or 5-day work week with additional days available, up to 2 nights out per week. Approx. $145 for per diem and overnight compensation.
