Class A Delivery Driver
About the role
The Class A Delivery Driver position is permanent and full-time, with a shift of Day Shift. The base pay starts at $31.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver, and unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer.
- Practice safe driving and delivery, and provide top-notch customer service.
- Address customer questions, issues, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both in actions and personal appearance.
- Adhere to Cascade policies and procedures.
- Complete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legibly.
- Maintain driver logs and inspections.
- Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
- Uphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloading.
- Do 5 to 12 stops in Central Washington market, spending 50% time loading/unloading and 50% driving.
- Spend one to two nights out on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience, including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable).
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist with or without assistance.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The US pay for this full-time position is $31.00 - 35.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.)
