Minimum $1400+ per week for a 4-day work week with split days off. Shifts average 10–12 hours, with dispatch between 12AM - 3AM based on assigned route.

About the Role

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure customers' products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition while serving as the face of our company—building lasting relationships with customers.

The CDL-A Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive-and-drop routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products safely and timely in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Drivers communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, answer questions accurately, and function as a team member within the department and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip), including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required and follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight; perform count checks and verify customer invoices.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Move tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed; ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked/secured at all times.
  • Unload damaged goods and customer returns; complete necessary paperwork at end of shift.
  • Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required.
  • Comply with daily record-keeping and hours of service requirements, adhering to DOT, state, and company policies.
  • Uphold safety standards and proper freight handling throughout the delivery process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 1 year of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A and meet all state licensing/certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.
  • Able to hand-lift and use equipment (e.g., two-wheeler, lift gate) to move/stack product cases/freight ranging from 10–90 pounds throughout the shift.

Pay
