Class A Delivery Driver

Airgas is hiring for a Class A Delivery Route Driver in Commerce City (Denver), Colorado. This role focuses on dry-ice logistics, delivering to key industries such as universities and labs.

About the role

As the largest supplier of dry ice, Airgas ensures quality, reliability, and service for customers depending on cold shipping supplies. You will drive a CDL A truck to deliver dry ice, operate warehouse equipment, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer places of business.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signatures, ensure piece count matches the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes for return.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
• Keep the inside of the truck clean and comply with all company, DOT, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of CDL Class A or Class B driving experience in the last 5 years, or a certificate of completion from a trucking school within the last 12 months. Military driving experience with a CDL also qualifies.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No serious violation tickets (e.g., speeding 15+ mph over, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in the last 3 years, except for "Failure to pay child support."
• No DUI in the last 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification.
• Pallet Jack Certification.

Pay

$32.00 per hour with a $1,000 referral bonus. Overtime is paid after 40 hours.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, with early morning start times.
