About the role
We are seeking a Class A City Driver responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver freight within city routes.
Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading, securing cargo, inspecting vehicles
- Complying with federal and state regulations, including hazardous materials handling
- Maintaining accurate logs
- Adhering to hours-of-service limits
- Passing a DOT physical and drug screening
Requirements
- At least two years of interstate driving experience or one year with an approved driving school diploma
- A valid driver’s license
- Necessary endorsements such as Haz-Mat and Tanker within 90 days
Qualifications
- A clean driving record
- Pass a driving test
- Demonstrate reading, writing, and basic math skills
