Class A CDL Truck Driver (Home every night.)

About the role

This is a local and regional driving position, with drivers home every night. All experience levels are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up customer parts
• Review orders before delivery
• Auxiliary loading and unloading as needed
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers

Requirements

• Class A CDL with air brake endorsement required
• Current medical card and meets required DOT employment qualifications
• Previous truck driving experience helpful
• Physical ability to secure loads with straps, chains or other fasteners
• Knowledge and ability to perform required DOT pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections
• Ability to perform minor repairs to truck/trailer (changing light bulbs, wiper blades, tires, etc.)
• Maintain interior/exterior cleanliness of assigned truck
• Ability to maintain a legal driver’s log in accordance with state and federal regulations

Benefits

Schedule

• This is a part-time position working approximately 25 hours per week
• Driving is always during the work week, no weekends
• Schedule flexibility required as hours are based on client delivery needs
