About the role
We are looking for a full-time Driver/Technologist Assistant who will drive the mobile medical imaging equipment to customer locations and perform patient-care duties such as preparing the imaging room, escorting and transporting patients, under the direction of a licensed technologist.
- Tuesday: Move truck from Clinton, OK, to El Reno, OK
- Thursday: Move truck from El Reno, OK to Clinton, OK
- Friday: TA during the day and move truck from Muskogee, OK to Enid, OK (possible overnight Friday and move Saturday AM, depending on home location)
Our standard work week is five days a week Monday–Friday, even if you aren’t scheduled to work all five days. The position does not have a permanent fixed schedule because routes are subject to change at any time. You will be required to work an alternative schedule within the region as needed to provide backup coverage for leaves of absence, vacations, unplanned absences, etc., on unscheduled days.
Responsibilities
- Transports the mobile unit to customer locations
- Maintains the truck and trailer, including checking and maintaining fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting
- Schedules and documents preventive maintenance as necessary
- Inspects the truck before and after each trip and submits a report indicating truck conditions
- Maintains driver logs according to DOT regulations
- May assist the technologist with duties including transporting patients from the facility to the mobile unit and back
- Travels 100% of the time
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- One year of recent truck driving experience
- Must be 23+ years of age
- FMCSA Clearinghouse registration
- Clean MVR
- No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
- No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
- No felonies in the last 5 years
- No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Must pass DOT background check including drug screen
- Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, customer service, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
Skills
- Ability to access job-related internet websites and email
- Fluent in use of ELD (training available)
Qualifications
- CDL – Class A
- Valid DOT medical card

- Tuberculosis screening (annual or per facility guidelines)
