Class A CDL Driver - Local
Job Purpose
Driving semi-truck mainly pulling roll-off or flatbed; Securing freight to flatbed trailer with chains, binders, and straps; Loading and unloading material; Assisting shipping and receiving when not driving; Reading maps and planning trips; Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment; Completing driver's paperwork (logs, trip reports, DVIR's etc.); Scheduling maintenance of equipment with the shop.

Education / Training
- Class A CDL
- 10+ years of verifiable driving experience
Qualifications And Experience
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must be experienced with manual transmission
- Must have a valid Class A CDL License with an air brake endorsement and good driving record
- Must have at least 2 years of recent OTR verifiable tractor trailer experience (Roll-Off or Flatbed preferred)
- Compliance with state and federal DOT rules and regulations
- Able to operate a forklift, telehandler/skytrak
- Work around and operate mobile equipment
- Able to engage in communication with all levels of employees and customers
- Able to maintain attention to detail with driver's paperwork
- Possess sufficient strength to tie down a load properly
