Class 2 Driver HGV

About the role

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a Class 2 Driver HGV for full-time, temporary or permanent work in Stonehouse. The role pays £15 per hour with all hours, including breaks, remunerated. Newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Category C vehicle
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of products
• Offloading products to kerbside or specified drop-off points
• Completing one to twelve deliveries daily to residential and commercial addresses
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness and roadworthiness

Requirements

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 9 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication skills

Schedule

Shifts commence between 04:00 and 07:00.
