About the role
Piedmont Water Company is seeking a licensed Class 1 or Class 2 Wastewater Operator to join their team. The position is full-time and open until filled.
Responsibilities
- Operate wastewater treatment facilities
- Monitor and adjust treatment processes
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Handle waste water collection and disposal
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements
- Licensed Class 1 or Class 2 Wastewater Operator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in wastewater operations preferred
- Knowledge of environmental regulations
- Good communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in computer software related to wastewater management
- Strong problem-solving abilities
