Claims - Surety Fidelity Litigation Specialist II-IV

About the role

The Surety Fidelity Litigation Specialist position is within the Surety Fidelity Claims department at Cincinnati Insurance Companies. This role is based in Fairfield, OH, with relocation packages available for eligible candidates relocating to Fairfield, OH. Remote candidates are also considered.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and supervise Surety and Fidelity claims
• Provide supervision and assistance to Field Claims associates relative to Fidelity Claims as part of the Surety Claims Team
• Provide technical support and updates on industry trends to the Surety Fidelity Underwriting department
• Report to Cincinnati Insurance Company Reinsurers relative to claims that fall within the scope of various Reinsurance Treaties
• Report to various state and federal agencies as required
• Report to Claims management as required

Requirements

• Three years insurance Claims experience
• Surety and/or Fidelity claim experience preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Preferred proficiency in the use of the Claims Management System
• Data analytics skills
• Detail oriented
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Able to adapt to change
• Able to learn new skills and advance educationally
• Able to work independently when called upon
• Able to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel on occasion

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• CPCU, AIC, AIM designations, or other relevant education preferred
