Responsibilities
- Prepare claim filing for all agencies on acquired or sold properties.
- Complete monthly process control audits and provide results to management.
- Absorb and complete monthly vendor audits and provide results to management.
- Resolve escalations from team members within the Team Lead’s scope of responsibility.
- Assist with training for incoming and existing employees.
- Absorb and maintain department job aids and procedures.
- Review exception report for system data integrity and provide trends to management when applicable.
- Absorb and assist with research and preparing file package for internal and external audits.
- Draft written correspondence to internal lines of business and create good working relationships to ensure quick resolution of escalated tasks.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of experience in default mortgage servicing and/or mortgage insurance claims and/or the legal field.
- Strong knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and understanding of claims processing.
- Strong knowledge of foreclosure processes and guidelines.
- LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience.
- Ability to manage time and priorities.
- Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues.
- Ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and by telephone.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Excel and Word.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $20.43 - $34.28 hourly. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.
