Claims Repricing Specialist (Remote)

About the role

As the Repricing Coordinator you will re-price medical (CMS1500, UB04) and dental claims using multiple applications to obtain discounted rates.

Responsibilities

• Reprice CMS1500 and UB04 forms for various PPO networks.
• Use several different computer applications to obtain the information needed to correctly re-price a claim.
• Key claims once repriced into the QicLink system.
• Communicate effectively with various team members and departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain 99 % or greater accuracy on re-priced and keyed claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 or more years of data entry experience.
• Intermediate-level Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
• Microsoft Access experience preferred.
• Experience with HCFA and UB92 forms preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands

This is a standard desk role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer work.

Work Environment

Remote. The role is fully remote; a cable broadband or fiber-optic internet connection with speeds of at least 100 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload is required.
