Responsibilities

  • Attend and complete a 4-week claims professional training program.
  • Process and respond to incoming mail, emails, and other claim-related documents.
  • Communicate effectively with injured workers, insureds/employers, medical providers, attorneys, and carrier representatives.
  • Investigate new and existing claims by gathering relevant information.
  • Determine coverage, compensability, and appropriate benefits.
  • Document claims files and maintain claim-related action items.
  • Prepare detailed reports and administer claim benefits.
  • Participate in meetings and claim discussions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

The starting pay range for this role is $27.69/hr, influenced by a wide range of factors including skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location.
