Claims Representative - Commercial Auto Property Damage
We are seeking an experienced Claims Representative to join our growing team in our Boston office, directly across the street from South Station.
Responsibilities
- Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties related to an auto accident.
- Communicate proficiently via text, email, and letter.
- Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability, and damages.
- Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses.
- Ensure adherence to a variety of commercial policies, including related coverages and exclusions.
- Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence.
- Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of auto claims handling experience, preferably commercial auto.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email, and other written correspondence.
- Demonstrated competency in time management, priority setting, and customer focus.
- Experience using a claims management and imaging system.
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience.

Pay
Salary range: $50,500 – $67,000 a year. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
