About the role
This position creates and performs Quality Assurance Audits on Allied’s claims and recovery processes to assess and improve accuracy and compliance with state regulations, carrier policy interpretations, and client service standards. The role is responsible for developing, facilitating, and maintaining written procedures, as well as conducting system, procedure, and process testing to identify and implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform Quality Assurance audits (50%) related to claim setup, adjudication, and settlement processes to ensure compliance with established procedures, state regulations, and carrier commitments.
- Identify trending errors (20%) by collecting error patterns and gaps in procedures and processes, then create and implement solutions in collaboration with business units.
- Calibrate procedure and process manuals (10%) by validating, writing, and formatting current and new manuals to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with system functionality for productive and compliant results.
- Provide analytical responses and direction (20%) to claims and recovery employees regarding claim handling procedures and processes, including creating tips and alerts.
- Conduct research (5%) in response to carrier or third-party examinations.
- Assist in regression testing (5%) for process and system enhancements.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed (5%).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Property & Casualty license (if auditing P&C claim processes).
- Maintains an adjuster license in all states that require it (if auditing P&C claim processes).
- 3–4 years of related experience.
