Claims Processing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare insurance claims for third-party payers and responsible parties, ensuring precise diagnosis and procedure coding accuracy.
• Analyze claim rejections, communicate directly with payers to resolve complex billing issues, and secure appropriate reimbursements.
• Produce and evaluate routine billing reports to identify trends and recommend workflow improvements.
• Serve as a key resource in resolving complex phone and written inquiries from patients, physician practices, and third-party payers.

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
