Claims Operations Analyst

About the role

Sompo is seeking a Claim Operations Analyst to join the Claims Operations team, supporting high-quality claims services across multiple lines of business by working closely with Claims Professionals and business partners to ensure accurate claim administration, operational efficiency, and exceptional service to stakeholders.

Location: Mt Juliet, TN office.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of claim files, including claim setup, documentation, correspondence, and coverage review support.
• Deliver responsive service to Claims professionals, brokers, clients, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Process claim-related transactions, payment requests and administrative activities accurately while maintaining service standards and data integrity.
• Manage competing priorities, proactively identify issues, and help drive timely resolution and delivery of work.
• Maintain accurate claim information across claims management systems and support the timely processing of payments, reserves, and related transactions.
• Collaborate across the Claims organization to support operational objectives, process improvements, and special initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

• Preferred 1 year experience in claims support, claims operations, insurance administration, or a related insurance environment.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage forms, and basic coverage analysis.

Skills

• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong customer service mindset, sense of urgency, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
