Claims Examiner - Non Subrogation | Jurisdiction: TX | Licensing: TX - Hybrid

As a Claims Examiner specializing in non-subrogation claims for clients in Texas, you’ll analyze and process claims to determine benefits due while ensuring adherence to service expectations, industry best practices, and client requirements. Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to their requests in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Texas licensing and jurisdiction knowledge required.

• Physical: Computer keyboarding; travel as required.
