Responsibilities

  • Handle Property and Casualty Claims, including structural damage and casualty claims such as auto and workers’ compensation.
  • Manage and supervise Third-Party Administrator (TPA) adjusters, outside vendors, field adjusters, and consultants, including CPAs.
  • Assess and determine policy coverage for reported claims.
  • Evaluate damages to determine appropriate compensation amounts.
  • Consult with accountants, architects, engineers, and other experts for specialized evaluations.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to claims calls and emails from agents and claimants.
  • Negotiate fair claim settlements while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in managing property and casualty claims or in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Xactimate and MS Office/Google Workspace applications.
  • AIC, CPCU, or other relevant insurance certifications are a plus.
  • Experiences in the CMP insurance industry preferred.

Monday – Friday
8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Hybrid after 90 days – 3 days in office/2 days remote
