About the role
Lead end-to-end testing efforts for Claims E2E Transformation implementations, enhancements, and upgrades across applications.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business requirements
- Prepare detailed test cases and scenarios based on business and functional requirements
- Execute testing across multiple phases (Functional, System, Integration, UAT) ensuring coverage and traceability
- Participate in defect triage meetings, analyze defects, prioritize by severity/impact, and coordinate with development teams for resolution
- Maintain test repository (cases, data, scripts, artifacts) with version control for reusability
- Execute batch jobs (JCL), DB validation (DB2/VSAM), and CICS screen testing
- Validate API requests/responses (status codes, headers, payloads), including XML/JSON schema checks
- Perform REST/SOAP testing using tools like Postman
- Identify automation opportunities leveraging existing tools
- Validate data integrity across systems (DB API downstream)
- Conduct regression testing cycles for each release/sprint to ensure functionality and prevent defect leakage
- Maintain test evidence and documentation to support quality metrics, reporting, and governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, Dev, DevOps) for test planning, execution alignment, and release readiness
