About the role

This role involves conducting integration testing and evaluating complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation. The focus is on ensuring systems perform correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate test plans, test procedures, test automation, and test reports.
  • Execute integration test activities such as system integration and design verification tests.
  • Conduct tests in system integration labs or at offsite locations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines.

Requirements

  • Education: A BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with over two years of related experience, or an MS degree in a relevant technical field is required.
  • Experience: Must have experience in the troubleshooting of hardware, software, and firmware issues. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with integration and testing for complex electronic systems is necessary. Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is required. Proficiency in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, or Python is also a requirement.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: An Active DOD Secret Clearance, Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation, Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing, Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs), Working knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or RF test equipment, Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (Cameo), Experience applying basic systems-engineering principles to develop and execute integration-test plans, Experience writing and executing test scripts, Ability to work independently with little oversight or direction, Willingness to travel.
