About the role
Lions International is the largest service club organization in the world, with 1.4 million members serving locally and globally to address major challenges. As a Claims Compliance Coordinator in our Finance Division, you will play a vital role in reviewing, auditing, and processing expense claims while ensuring compliance with Board Policy and Association procedures.
Responsibilities
- Reviews, audits, and processes domestic and international expense claims for international directors, district governors, and other assigned areas.
- Ensures claims comply with Board Policy and General Rules of Reimbursement, using judgment to interpret policies and audit claims.
- Apprises management of any significant out-of-policy claims and educates staff on policies and procedures.
- Documents discrepancies and requests additional information where applicable.
- Handles correspondence related to claims, answering routine questions.
- Ensures payments are processed accurately and delivered within prescribed timelines.
- Processes checks using the BottomLine system, signs accounts payable and expense claim checks, and distributes checks via mail or interoffice delivery.
- Maintains quality services by establishing, following, and enforcing organizational standards.
- Communicates control evaluations and recommendations orally and in writing to address management needs.
- Tracks employee and officer travel benefits requiring tax reporting on Form W-2 and Form 1099, ensuring Payroll is notified.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Accounting experience desired.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong math aptitude.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
Non-exempt: $23–25 hourly.
