Claims Associate - Med Only | Multi State Jurisdiction | Licensing: ID Required (Onsite - Meridian, ID)

Responsibilities

• Adjust medical-only claims and minor lost-time workers compensation claims under close supervision.
• Support other claims representatives, examiners, and leads with larger or more complex claims as needed.
• Process workers compensation claims, determining compensability and benefits due; monitor reserve accuracy and file necessary documentation with state agencies.
• Communicate claim actions with claimants, clients, and medical contacts.
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is accurate.
• Process routine payments, prescriptions, and status reports for lifetime or defined-period medical claims.
• Maintain professional client relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; claims industry experience preferred.
• Active Idaho claims adjuster license required.

• Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Physical: Computer keyboarding; occasional travel as required.
