Responsibilities

  • Day to day responsibility for the proactive servicing of clients claims, working with the client service team & claims leadership team as required.
  • Acting as a key claims contact for clients.
  • Reviewing complex insurance policies to ensure that claims are considered appropriately by insurers.
  • Acting as a point of reference with insurers and other stakeholders; undertaking claim negotiations.
  • Identifying, investigating and resolving claims issues to ensure that the best client outcomes are achieved.
  • Run data reports and use management information where required.
  • Working always to business operational standards, policy and processes.
  • Adhering to agreed SLA’s and response times.
  • Building positive working relationships with internal colleagues and teams.
  • Maintaining positive relationships and working collaboratively with internal colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Using claims applications effectively and accurately, while maintaining data quality.
  • Hilighting opportunities to satisfy client needs with other services and products.
  • To maintain own learning and CPD
  • Alignment with Partners& values (PACE)

Qualifications

  • Cert CII or working towards, Dip CII desirable

Experience/ skills

  • Excellent communication, administration and decision-making skills
  • Sound technical knowledge of the Insurance Industry with reference to claims
  • Ability to organise workflow, prioritising tasks and managing own time
  • Confident in using Microsoft Suite
  • Working knowledge of claims processes and regulatory standards
  • Current knowledge of FCA compliance rules and regulations
  • Confident user of insurance client system; Acturis an advantage

  • Understand and interpret complex policy wordings, extensions and limitations to ensure that the best client claim outcomes are achieved.
  • Proactively review and reschedule priorities & timescales to meet the clients requirements and expectations.
  • Confident in both raising & receiving concerns & know how to appropriately escalate issues
  • Engage with other team members to achieve the best client outcomes.
