Claims Adjuster Trainee
Duties & Responsibilities
- Determine coverage
- Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
- Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
- Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
Must-have Qualifications
- Three years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years work experience and an associate degree
Schedule
The training period is 13 weeks in length. For the first three weeks, the schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30a - 5:30p. Starting in week four, the schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8a - 5p. After training, the schedule will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8a - 6p.
Location
You must reside within 20 miles of Progressive's Malvern Claims office at 40 General Warren Blvd., Suite 110, Malvern, PA 19355.
Pay
$59,500 - $63,500/year
