Claims Adjuster - Large Loss Injury Litigation

About the role

This injury claims adjuster role offers unique challenges and opportunities for growth. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel for meetings and training. Depending on your location, you can also opt for a hybrid or full-time office schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial claim investigations
• Interpret coverage and investigate liability
• Handle claims involving multiple vehicles, competing claims, and significant injuries
• Direct counsel through litigation
• Engage experts
• Conduct negotiations including mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Evaluate claims to mitigate risk with potential travel required

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling, OR
• Three years in claims handling and a bachelor's degree, OR
• Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree

Preferred Skills

• Attorney-represented and litigated bodily injury claim experience
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex facts to case law and regulatory environments

Compensation

$95,000 - $130,200/year. Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% based on company performance.
