Claims Adjuster

About the role

State Fund, California’s largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance, is hiring a Claims Adjuster to work in San Joaquin County with telework options. The position is permanent, full‑time and supports the mission of providing fairly priced workers’ compensation insurance, promoting workplace safety, and restoring injured workers.

Responsibilities

• Learn the lifecycle of a Workers Compensation claim and the governing codes and laws
• Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and DWC laws and regulations
• Proactively and independently manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory of claims
• Collaborate with a team of claims professionals and other stakeholders
• Serve as a resource to other team members and/or internal staff
• Ensure delivery of a high‑quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties
