About the role
Minnesota Lawyers Mutual (MLM) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Attorney to join our dynamic and customer service-oriented Claims Team. The Claims Attorney handles Lawyers Professional Liability claims of moderate to high complexity, investigating and analyzing professional liability claims, reviewing and evaluating legal exposure, managing outside counsel, and driving case resolutions.

Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze professional liability claims
- Review and evaluate legal exposure
- Manage outside counsel
- Drive case resolutions
- Analyze insurance coverage and determine liability exposure
- Make appropriate reserve recommendations
- Ensure claims are handled within company policies and procedures and designated authority
Requirements
- Experience investigating and analyzing professional liability claims
- Experience analyzing insurance coverage, determining liability exposure, and making reserve recommendations
Location
Minneapolis, MN preferred but will consider other locations for the right candidate. Hybrid schedule based on location and team needs.
