CL/ QA Inspector - 12 Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights)

Responsibilities

• Create reports using computer and use of electrical and/or analytical equipment for quality inspections.
• Conduct quality checks.
• Engage in trouble-shooting and basic equipment maintenance in multiple quality labs.
• Organize and coordinate QA inspectors' work assignments, scheduling, and attendance (including traveling to off-site warehouse).
• Delegate team members and ensure they follow standard work processes.
• Guide and assist with training QA Inspectors.
• Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity.
• Assist with calibration of equipment.
• Absorb and assist with creating work orders, instructions, formulas, and flow charts.
• Provide back-up support to QA Supervisor(s) and Engineers.
• Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with analytical, and/or electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with mentoring and leading people highly desired.
