About the role

This position is within a General Contracting firm specializing in Multi-Family Residential and Commercial & Institutional remodeling and new construction. The company self-performs a range of scopes including finish carpentry, doors and windows installation, flooring, framing carpentry, and drywall installation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all phases of construction projects from inception to completion
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
• Supervise field operations and self-performed work crews
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve project issues
• Maintain safety compliance and documentation on job sites
• Procure materials and coordinate deliveries with project timelines

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management or project management within commercial or multi-family residential sectors
• Familiarity with self-performed trades such as drywall, carpentry, flooring, or door/window installation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
