CJ3 Captain

Park City Aviators is currently searching for a Full‑Time CJ3 Captain to join our team operating from the Heber City and Salt Lake City, UT area. The ideal candidate will be a standout colleague while seeking excellence in every aspect of performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the CJ3 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Park City Aviators policies.
• Perform a proper pre‑flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Complete a thorough check of weather, facilities, route, and airports (including alternates) before each flight.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork according to current procedures.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all flights, inspections, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.

Qualifications

• Total flight time: 3,000 hours
• Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours
• Multi‑Engine Land (MEL) time: 1,000 hours
• MEL PIC time: 500 hours
• Time in type (CJ3 or comparable): 500 hours
• Type‑rated on Learjet 45 or comparable aircraft
• First‑class medical required
• Primary residence within a 2‑hour drive from KSLC or willingness to relocate
• Ability to travel internationally without restriction

Schedule

Average 12 work days per month.

Pay

$135,000 – $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
