Civil Structural Engineer - Remote
About the role
Design and detail mat and pier type foundations for substation structures, ranging from simple equipment supports to overhead line towers. All work will be performed with emphasis on quality and project costs following client’s requirements and internal company’s quality control and quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate steel structures and concrete foundations for rigid bus systems and electrical equipment, ensuring structural integrity, stability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent from ABET accredited school.
- 5+ years’ experience designing structures for Transmission & Distribution Substations (preferred) or Industrial & Commercial environments.
