Responsibilities

  • Dive into detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements, such as seismic and environmental standards
  • Evaluate proposed plant modifications to ensure they uphold safety and compliance
  • Prepare in-depth technical reports, design calculations, and specifications, effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders
  • Collaborate across disciplines
  • Lead design initiatives
  • Develop innovative design studies, craft comprehensive project scopes, and produce accurate engineering estimates
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with fresh ideas and creative problem-solving strategies
  • Engage in field operations, including traveling, participating in site walkdowns, overseeing field installations, and supporting system start-ups
  • Inspire teams with a positive, results-driven attitude and effective leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with design of civil structural systems
  • Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial including chemical or pulp & paper, and government (DOE) projects
  • Good writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Able to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Proficient in Word and Excel

Senior Engineers

  • 7 years of post-graduate experience in a related role

Principal Engineers

  • 10 years of post-graduate experience in a related role
